As a pivotal member of what will ultimately be your dream team of wedding vendors, I know that my role is much more than wedding photography. I have the opportunity to change the way two people will forever remember their wedding day.
If a bride remembers her wedding as the most perfect day, that happens not because of sky-high floral arrangements or elaborate reception designs. The memories of an incredible day happen because there was time to savour every moment. Time to laugh and enjoy and pop bottles with her favourite people. She was allowed to breathe and be herself and trust that her creative team would be her number two support system (after her husband of course!).
Being a Laura Kelly Couple is a lasting experience that not only spans the year of wedding planning, but lasts far beyond even the first year of marriage. It's the stuff beyond simply wedding photography that contributes to those forever memories. Before 2016, the album was not included in my standard package. Now that I find myself looking back on my own wedding four years ago, I'm realizing how important it is to hold your photos in your hands. I treasure that book so much, and wish for every single one of my clients to experience that same love.

I believe the engagement session is the key to having beautiful photos on your wedding day. (That's why it's included in every package!)
The engagement session is my opportunity to learn about how you are in front of the camera. Some people think they need a ton of direction, when really they're naturally much more relaxed when I'm not giving detailed posing instructions. Others are the exact opposite.
By the time the wedding rolls around, you'll already know my terminology. It won't feel at all like a photo shoot. That's the goal, and it's why all my couples look relaxed, natural, and non-cheesy.

Let's confirm your date!
Filling out the contact form will be your first step. From there, we'll set up a time for your and your boo to swing by the studio for a glass of wine or a decaf green tea (two of my faves). A 33% deposit makes it official!

Engagement session time! I'll help you choose the perfect location and make sure you and your (potentially) camera-shy partner will be feeling confident and looking natural. This is my opportunity to learn about how you are in front of the camera and give you tons of little tricks for looking your best.

The wedding day! We've prepared for this, we're ready. If there's one thing you know for sure, it's that your day will be documented beautifully, so you can sit back and enjoy every single moment.
Oh yeah, and I'll be there to tuck in loose strands of hair, give Aunt Nancy directions to the church, and sneak you out for sunset photos.

When the first sneak peek hits, I picture you loading it on your phone using the airport wifi, just minutes before you're about to board for the honeymoon. I'm known for a little something I like to call: sneak peek week. This is the good stuff, my friend. These sneaks may come in the form of texts, instagram posts, or they might appear on facebook!

Your final gallery of edited wedding photos will be delivered within 3 weeks of the wedding day. HEYO, that is insanely fast compared to many other photographers, but it's something I've been known for ever since I started my business. I was engaged myself and can relate to how tough it is to wait to see and share your photos!
Once your gallery has arrived, time to pop a bottle of champagne with your new husband and dive in!

The most amazing wedding album you could ever imagine is INCLUDED with your wedding package. It's something that's close to my heart.
You get the fun part: flagging your favourite photos in the wedding gallery, choosing a colour for the cover and the text for the engraving, and the rest is up to me! Your album will be mailed to you within 10 weeks of making your selections.
